If you’re working on your own idea–creating a future where your work is your own vision–you may find this video motivational. I did. And I’m going to watch it any time I feel frustrated with the obstacles I face.

Awesome!! Loved this. Thanks for posting it.
YES! I make my living by helping people DARE to find their inner entrpreneur. I totally believe that entrepreneurs can (and do) change the world.
I live in the UK, but was born and lived most of my life in US. While not entrepreneurs (in fact they were averse to my inclination for entrepreneurialism) my late parents were immigrants, raised in poverty. What they achieved in a single lifetime is pretty darn amazing. I feel like I am now able to do what I do only because they did what they did. It is all about having a vision, whatever that vision might be.

Positively~ Glad you enjoyed it!
Lynn~ “It is all about having a vision, whatever that vision might be.” <–So true! My biggest difficulty is the tendency to continually change my vision. I’m learning, though, to allow flexibility while maintaining constancy of purpose.
Lori,
Your blog is so inspirational. I love your posts. Keep up the amazing work! #RockOn
Best regards,
Lotay
This truly is a great vid. I remember seeing it recently somewhere else too, though for the life of me I can’t remember where. It’s amazing what little 2 minute clips like this can do for your mood level. Same reason I keep an “Inspirational” playlist on my Youtube account, for when I need little pick-me-ups and reminders that what I’m doing means something in the long run.
Good post!
Thanks for writing, I really liked reading your latest post. I think you should post more frequently, you evidently have natural ability for blogging!
Hey Lori,
At a time, the hurdles and obstacles in life appeared to be so overwhelmed and we lose the motivation, we step down, we feel like things will never improved and we should just accept as it is and settle for less. We think that the one person can make a different kind of stuff is a fantasy, so far to reach, unrealistic and I should just leave it to everyone else except me. Inner voice will start to shout, “This is bull shit. Stop it and get real!”
I love the message carried by this short & precise inspirational video. Some how it helps us to clear the blind spot that temporary block our eyesight when things get messed up, overwhelmed and bring us back on track as well as remind us that one person can make a difference is a real & practical thing!!
I will replay it whenever I feel off track and ask the ego to shut up !! :p
Have a fabulous day.
With much thanks,
Jen
Lori, great video! I had a recent post about thinking big and how we all need to stop limiting ourselves. We need to get out of our own way. Starting in school we beat kids down by constantly telling them what they do wrong and what they can’t do. We need to get that kid thinking back. Kids think they can do anything, but they just don’t know how yet. Adults think if they don’t know how then they can’t do it. Keep up the good work. I love your blog. Stumbled.
Lotay~ Thank you so much for all your feedback and support. I am really looking forward to getting together when you are in town!
Tyler~ I thought it was just amazing. Short and simple and yet so powerful. I actually got goosebumps at the end! I like your idea about an inspirational account on YouTube. I think I’ll do the same!
My Amazing Weight Loss~ Thank you so much! I tend to post about 3 times a week, but I may increase that at some point. I’m happy to know you’ve enjoyed them
Jen~ “Some how it helps us to clear the blind spot that temporary block our eyesight when things get messed up, overwhelmed and bring us back on track as well as remind us that one person can make a difference is a real & practical thing!!” So true! That’s exactly what I was thinking–that we occasionally lose sight of all that’s possible and allow ourselves to feel hopeless. Small pieces of inspiration really do make a huge difference.
Stephen~ I so agree with you about getting out of our own way. There’s this little voice a lot of us have that says “I can’t” or “it’s not possible” before we even take the first step. I think when we learn to let go of our attachment to outcomes–fear of failing, or maybe even succeeding–it’s easier to move forward. It’s like today’s @tinybuddha quote on Twitter: “Whatever the outcome may be, the important thing is to step forward on the path that you believe is right.” ~Daiasku Ikeda
I found your site on google, great site, keep it up. Will return in the future. Submitted this post to Google News Reader.

It is useful to try everything in practice anyway and I like that here it’s always possible to find something new.
